Adoption Information

Are you ready to give a forever home to a deserving animal? Our animals up for adoption have been saved from death row for various reasons, including abandonment, neglect, or owner surrender. Each animal has a unique story and is waiting for a loving family like yours.

Adoption Fees: While the adoption fee helps cover some of the costs associated with supporting and rehabilitating these animals, it only partially contributes to their care. We rely on the generosity of our donors to ensure these animals receive the love and support they need.

Our foster carers are the glue that holds our rescue together, and is one of the more hands on ways you can help you! Although there are lots of cuddles involved there are a few things you should consider:

Our foster carers are the glue that holds our rescue together, and it’s one of the most hands-on ways you can help! While there are lots of cuddles involved, there are a few important considerations:

Housing: Are you allowed to have an animal where you live?
Current Pets: Do you have other furry siblings who might not want a new friend?
Children: If you have kids, will they be supervised around the foster pet?
Current Fostering: Are you currently fostering for another rescue organisation? If so, are they aware of your intention to foster for us?
Travel Plans: Will you be able to organise care or take your foster pet with you if you go away?
Background Check: Have you ever been charged with animal cruelty? If so, we cannot accept your application.

Foster Care Guidelines:

Foster cats must be kept indoors at all times unless on a leash or in a suitable outdoor enclosure.
Foster dogs must be kept in a secure yard with access to the house.
Foster horses need a suitable paddock.
Daily tick checks are essential to prevent bringing ticks into your home.
Foster pets should not be chained, roped, or tethered.
If leaving the property, foster pets must be accompanied by a mature adult.
Any necessary vet treatment must be organised in advance; reimbursement is not possible without prior permission.
Foster pets require proper care and socialisation to prepare them for adoption. This includes teaching manners and basic obedience.
